A movie...er, Star somethingsomething?

Post by me_in_japan » Sat Nov 07, 2015 12:24 pm

So, there's this film coming out in December that I'd kinda like to see, and it seems to me to be one o them movies that works best with as much BLAM! as possible, so I'm thinking 3D IMAX bells, whistles, popcorn and hotdogs if at all possible. Such things are, sadly, not available in sunny Tsu, so I was wondering if any of you fine Nagoya folks would be available to go see some movie called Star Wars this winter vacation?

In all seriousness, I appreciate that you may already have made your own plans, and they may involve camping out overnight to watch it on the first day. I, however, do not fall into that camp. I want to see it, but I'm happy enough to wait until the madness has died down a bit. Winter vacation seems sensible, especially since I'll be working up until the 23rd. Some time after Christmas seems best. So, if you, too can wait a whole week to see it, would anybody fancy joining me at the IMAX in nagoya (which I havent checked but I assume is showing it) sometime between Christmas and New Year? PM me or post below, if'n it please ye squires.

*edit* If we could combo it with a bit of gaming thatd be awesome, because it costs me a fair whack of time and money to get up to Nagoya, so it'd be nice to make a day of it.

There's a chance I'll be holding off on watching Star Wars, but the truth is I'm going to jump at the first chance I have to peel myself away from fatherly or work duties. Who knows when that can and might be. If you are planning a party, I'd be up for joining, but honestly it is hard to say so early. Additionally my folks are coming in about Christmas time and they are not the Star Warsy type. I'll be expected to be about the child or at work.
