Hi all,

As we've noted in the March games day thread, our friend YellowStreak is soon heading off to *clap clap clap clap* deep in the heart of Texas, and I thought it would be cool to have a BeerHammer send-off for him. It looks like the evening before, the 17th*, works (on account of YS can come and it's not a work night), so anyone who wants to come along, speak up in here!

I'll take care of reservations and what-not once we get a quorum - my first instinct is for good old Nagoya cookin', world famous Yamachan, but if anyone (or, more importantly, YS) has a particular request we can field that too.

*Which is also somebody's birthday... *whistles innocently*

the 17th should be good for me, too, touch wood. Put me down as an "aye" but with the proviso that I may have to cancel at the last minute depending on uncontrollable family stuff. If that happens, I will of course pay any share of booking costs that may be incurred.

I'll make a reservation for 7 then - if I just reserve a table and not a course menu there won't be any penalty for cancelling, so those of you on the fence can not worry.

For the moment, I'll just go for "whichever of the many Yamachans in Kanayama has seats available" at say 6:00 on Saturday? Unless someone prefers a different time?

And if anybody else wants to come, pipe up!

Just free ordering, so we should be able to handle cancellations, and probably even last-minute additions, without trouble.
