I just use the "i don't care" rule and just mix, different pattern titans have different sizes.

Time for an epic hello kitty chaos army? :P

I agree with J-R. Moving to 8mm (or any other homogeneous scale) is a necessary move b/c scale was all over the place. That it comes with the advantage of forcing people to buy their armies again is icing on the cake... but then you don't have to follow what GW wants.
