Epicstravaganza!

Oh, it's on!
Event: Epicstravaganza!
Time: Saturday, December 3rd, 10:00am 'till we're done - we'll have the room 'til 9.
Place: Meihoku Community Center (check out http://g.co/maps/5mm4 for a map) - it's about a 12 or 15-minute walk from Ozone station on the JR Chuo line, or a 2-3 minute walk from Heian-dori on the subway Meijo line.
Fee: 2400 yen divided by the number of participants. 4 people, 600 yen.
What's up:
I have 4 Epic armies (Marines, Guard, Eldar and Orks) and lots of terrain. I'm making them available to you to play.
As many as 4 people can participate if everyone's borrowing an army. For every 2 people who bring their own armies, I can add 2 slots - I'll scare up mats and terrain somehow. Borrowers can request a particular army, but if more than one person wants to use the same one we'll draw lots. Observers are of course welcome as well, and I'm going to make an announcement in Japanese at the next Joshin event, since I know a couple of the Japanese guys are tempted by the game.
If you haven't played Epic, check out the rules here (the 4 "updated rulebook" pdf's): http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/conte ... Id=4900003
If you're bringing an army, write up a 3000-point list using any of the NetEA lists here:
Space Marines: http://www.tacticalwargames.net/taccmd/ ... hp?id=1457
Imperial Guard: http://www.tacticalwargames.net/taccmd/ ... hp?id=1469
Orks: http://www.tacticalwargames.net/taccmd/ ... hp?id=1455
Eldar: http://www.tacticalwargames.net/taccmd/ ... hp?id=1466
Chaos: http://www.wargamer.com.au/epic/NetEA_A ... ETAV31.pdf
Sure, even the "experimental" lists.
If you poke around at Tactical Command (http://www.tacticalwargames.net/taccmd/index.php) there are more to be found.
We should have time to play 2 3000-point games - I'm thinking a couple random matchups so you can get a feel for your army with the first game and bring the pain in the second. I'm hoping for a fun, relaxing day of gaming, with me available to hover around and answer rules queries and what-not.
In the (I'm hoping unlikely) event that I can't get the room on 12/3, I'll post here on 10/4 and let you know a revised plan.
So, if you can come, post here, and let me know if you'll be bringing an army or if you want to borrow one, and if you want to borrow, which of my armies you'd like to use.
If it goes well, I'll plan more!
