The horrors are certainly overly complicated now. I keep forgetting not only Deny the Witch, but it also has Soul Fire and a new weird ability called Warpfire. It's easy to forget something.
It's also easy to forget your Warp Storm. I guess if you play daemons regularly you will learn to remember it all. Such is the way of 6th edition.

that and the new blue horror rule. still haven't worked my head around that one completely. Tzeentch really got some strange rules added on. giving out invulnerable saves every now and then.

Overall I think all the dark gods got an overhaul that changes the way each play. The changes have really shaken up the demon codex something huge. Putting together a few lists recently has really shown me just how much has changed. Heck, even Khorne has slipped into a few of my lists. Can't say I would want to take them to a tournament, but as a fun army, they are definetely up there.

Oh, and Tzeentch models re-roll saving throws of 1. I always forget that, too. If horrors go to ground behind an aegis they are re-rolling 2+ cover saves.

Are they fearless... If so they can't go to ground.

Daemons have lost fearless and can now go to ground. Instead they have Daemonic Instability again.

hoped over to BoLS and saw their scathing review of the fantasy book. Don't think I've ever seen so much hate sent at one rule book before!

BoLS hate everything. I don't think I've ever seen them say "I think this book is fair, balanced and fits the fluff". If it ain't filled with power gaming cheese, they ain't happy.

*edit* I stand corrected - I just read the BoLS review of the 40k daemon dex. He pretty much said it was balanced, fluffy, and nudges people towards playing mono-god armies. Fair play to em :)

I also read the review of the fantasy daemons book. Ya. They hated on that gooood.

Picked up my copy of the codex today. Warpflame WTF??? So Pink Horrors now need to take a psychic test to shoot, potentially suffering perils along the way, can be stopped by Deny The Witch, and against most armies will grant the enemy FNP if they dont wipe out the unit. Yay Pink Horrors!! I'd say that they had been nerfed if they hadn't been pretty poor in the last edition anyway.

Grumble grumble mono Tzeentch army, grumble grumble.

Well I did predict Tzeentch and Slaanesh would get nerfed and khorne and nurgle buffed up. I was pretty accurate in my prediction :geek:
