The full contents of the Space Marine Heroes series 3 set have showed up online:






Looks like a champion with plaguesword and plasma pistol, 3 regular plague marines including one with an icon, a heavy with a plague spewer and a fighter with a flail of corruption. Which (and it's hard to believe this is a coincidence) comes to 99 points on the dot for kill team. Looks like I've got a September project!

There's been a few leaked pictures of painted ones from magazine previews (which I can't find ATM) and they look pretty dang boss.

Also they announced Underworlds season 3 (Beastgrave) in which a crack in reality connects the city of Shadespire to the realm of Beasts, I guess? And, the biggest news of all - no Stormcast in the core set.

You get Wood Elfy satyr guys (and a lion, and a centaur):

...so I guess I'm not going to stop collecting new Underworlds warbands anytime soon.

Although they should have had a centigor to got toe-to-toe (hoof-to-hoof?) with the elf centaur! (are elf centaurs a thing now?)

A whole buncha new Marine stuff in the pipeline that I can't be bothered to put on imgur because, while cool, it doesn't really make me hype. But there's a pretty cool rogue-trader-looking-in-a-good-way exo-suit thing and (finally) a dedicated transport for primaris, along with the primaris-sized Khan above and a Tigurius too. Also they're getting a (frankly much-needed - marines have suffered heavily in 8th from first-codex syndrome) codex update with some rules buffs.

Naturally, people on the internet are very angry about this.
