Last mad standing

For the discussion of anything related to Warhammer 40,000

Do you want to play an Apocalypse game where each player has a single SuperHeavy with an 800pt cap?

So, March it is then! :D
I have a feeling that this game won't take very long for some folks and would be a terrible waste of time and effort if you get annihilated in the first turn. So, how about a second round for losers or doing this as a prelude to some general gaming?

Thats actually what I was thinking mate. It would be a fast, fun, and not too serious game before the general gaming. I did actually have an idea for another game (still 40K) we could play after that one. I will post up my idea after I have had some dinner.

I think this would be a very fun addition to the Nagoya hammer event...At least all of us are planning to go to that..

absolutely not - there's no way I can carry a super heavy plus my entire army to Nagoya. Aint gonna happen. Did it once before, and it was a mega piita. I'm very much in favour of a 4 game daft day, as suggested in another thread. (KotH, DemoDerby, PitFight, SuperHeavySplatFest)

We'd each only need to bring 1 super, 1 HQ (or 2 if we're being fussy), 1 unit, and 1 tank. totally doable in one bag.

So guys, are we going to do this or what?
Should we look at booking a room for this or are we all just going to give up on it? I can try and get a place in Nagoya if you like?
My available dates/days are:
April - 9, 10, 16, 17
May - 14, 15, 21, 22
I'm booked solid in March.

May is a no-no as my folks are here. April is good though.

Towards the middle or end of April would be good for me. I was wondering whatever happened to this idea.
Come on the rest of you let's get this done!

I know Kuwana was thrown around as an option, but we could also:
A) Play in Nagoya (I can look at booking a room at the usual place or elsewhere)
or
B) Play on Spev's school's floor (assuming spev has no objections).
