Da Waarahg V da Panzy

First turn very boring both sides failing to do much damage a few predictable movez by da panzy saw the end ov Da Orkyz battle Wagon but da Bozy moved in to Position to waste da Panzyz... turn 2 saw the end of most of Da Panzyz ... jetzoomaz zoomed fur der momz

3rd turn they busted up a truck and our Deff Kopptaz we crushed them in every way possible... the JetVroom WierdPanzy never even showed up...

Da wuz dat

I have not gotten a chance to fight Nids yet, and frankly the prospect terrifies me. Giving the Codex a read, it looks like they out Ork Orks. If I were to fight Nidz, I'd take as many Kannons as I could. You can get a unit of 3 with 3 Ammo Grots- giving you a one time re-roll to hit per grot, for 69 points. Most of the Nidzilla bugs are T6, AS 3+, so a couple units of Kannons and what ever else you can throw at it, ought to take one down. And when the inevitable D Striking nasty burrows up into your backfield, he has only cheap little units to eat. If he doesn't eat them and goes for something more tasty, he eats more Kannon fire. A pretty easy scratch build if you need them quick.
I don't know what I'd take to mix it up HTH with them.

"they out ork orks" is exactly how I would put it, though I've only played the new codex tyrannids once in Kyoto... too much stuff to handle, frankly. It wasn't fun. It was just a case of the other guy advancing..ho hum, I've lost.
Ironically it must be the way some other armies feel against orks, so it was an instructive experience. I can see peoples beefs with the greenskins.
I felt though, and I may be wrong, that a green tide style army would do alright. But I wouldn't want to buy or play that.

I will definitely consider the grot kannons. Its shame that the minis are so bloody horrible, I will have to build some.

I have to agree with kanonz as a great way of gunnig things down but I also must say that the warboss on a bike with cybork body should be a good way to deal with big monsters and even the small guys realy, chuck him and a unit of at least 20 boyz with a nob and a power claw in to any of the bignidz an they should take it down. Shoota boyz and lootaz should do okay but the best way me tinks iz tank busta boyz the glory hogs deal is not a problem so you should be gud to shoot da skum you can see S8 AP3 assult 24 weapons can reach out and touch some one. Same for deffkoptaz they will rocket the hell out of most da Bugeyes and then buzz off once the big swarms get near. The best way I kan fink uv iz rokket power waaarg
