I spent some time this afternoon putting this together.



Having done this, I have discovered several things.

Firstly, I have an ungodly number of marines. There are over 600 of them on the table. Thats not including the 50 or so that need arms attaching, or the 50 more still on sprues. Between my Wolves, Angels (both flavours), Ravenguard, Crimson Fists, Mantis Warriors and assorted others, I have a full 1st company, a full battle company (nearly 2) and a full assault company. Plus support.

Secondly, I am totally out of control with regards to only buying what I need and painting what I buy.

Thirdly, I am missing 2 Ravenguard tactical marines since NagoyaHammer. If anyone has them, please let me know. They're black with a red trim on their shoulder pad.

There are also 2 Landraiders, 6 drop pods and 8 land speeders not shown in that picture.

I really don't know what to say.

I actually stared at the message box and thought about what to type and I couldn't come up with anything coherent, just a string of adjectives.

stupid, impressive, vast, unnecessary, cool, unpainted, pointless, jealous, skint, addicted, dedicated, busy.

that is nuts man you have more Marines than I have Orks that is saying a lot because I have a lot of Orks... do you have more Marines than Guard?

You know, you have more marines for 40K than I have for Epic. And I have a whole lotta marines for Epic.

Yeah, I only have about 200-250 guardsmen.
Though I do have 9 Super Heavies for the guard.....

9 is a bare minimum I would say!!
