Any guesses/bets on what it'll be? What would you like it to be?

I would like to see Dark Heresy miniatures. I know, I know, but still.

Dark Heresy is very unlikely, beyond a couple of small adverts in White Dwarf, GW barely acknowledge it's existance. The odds are it will be a boxed game such as Advanced Heroquest or Necromunda or some such. Last year the "mystery box" was Space Hulk.

And there has been that rash of Blood Bowl IP protection measures over the past year or so...

But the boxed game of blood bowl is still available......so maybe not. The IP threats were due to the Bloodbowl video game which came out around the same time as the lawyers letters started to fly.

I believe the IP threats were also because the BB rights were soon up and when a company renews them they have to be seen to be actively protecting their IP.

It could be BB in 2012 as that's the 25th anniversary.

I've seen/heard murmurings of the black box being the new Dark Eldar stuff.

Rather than Adv Heroquest it might be Warhammer Quest. I reckon they would rather go with the product that has the stronger warhammer connection. And like Space Hulk, the minis could be used within different rules sets.

I don't think it will be Necromunda. In Space Hulk you have a choice of two forces so choosing what to make in plastic was a no brainner. Making Necro in plastic would make some necro geeks very happy, others peeved for not gettign their gang in plastic.

Warhammer Quest would be cool. That's on my long list of "games I wish I'd had the money to buy when they were available".

Ohhh :D .Exciting ใงใ™ใ€‚ My fingers are crossed for Warhammer Quest or Mordheim. 40k stuff is ok, but Fantasy tropes are what I prefer..Also either of these would buoy up interest in 8th. The 40k juggernaut doesn't need any help.
