I would really like to buy the iBook version on the Tau codex but because I live in Japan the codex is un available. I am not sure you care about my money but I would like to buy all of the products on Games work shop have on iBooks store. I have more models than I will ever be able to paint. so rather than buy more models that will never see the light of day I would like to buy the iBooks. I got the latest white dwarf magazine from news stand but for some reason the iBooks are not available. Will ibooks ever be available in Japan?

Hi Admiral Badruck.

Apple support paid books in a limited number of countries, so previously we haven't been able to sell through the Japanese iBookstore.

Japan was added to the list of supporting countries just last month, so eventually we'll be able to sell there too. There are a bunch of contract, tax and accounting details our legal and finance teams have to sort through first, and I'm afraid I don't have a timescale for that, but we're working on it.

Can't say as I agree with your reasoning, but it's good to see they replied to you, and fairly informatively, too.

I bought the iBook of the Empire book through iTunes if that's any use.
It's iPad only though. Doesn't go on an iPhone. I haven't tested it on an iPad as yet as I don't own one. :?
It's probably worth noting I use iTunes UK account for purchases not the Japan store. The same with Steam.

I have the dark angels, demons and tau on my Ipad. I will be at nagoya hammer on Friday. I will be the fat blond american in the hawaii shirt.

Look for me and you can poke my screen.
