Plastic Sisters of Silence, Custodes and more Marines.

At a smidge over 2 quid a model, that's bordering on a good deal, for GW. Certainly, compared to the going rate for the equivalent minis from FW it's an absolute steal. Overall, it gets a somewhat grudging nod of approval from me, and certainly from both a business and a fan base-pleasing perspective it makes a lot of sense. Nice space wolf commander mini, too. Ahriman, however, gets a meh from me. Not terrible, but not wowza. Would like to see a better pic of the Sisters and Custodes, though. It says there are rules for d/l to use them in 30k and 40k. Do Sisters (of Silence) and Custodes even exist in 40k? Just wondering. Still, those two'll be crowd pleasers, that's for sure.

Custodes certainly exist in 40K, but no longer operate off Terra (unless they retcon the fluff). The Sisters of Silence have never been mentioned in 40K to my knowledge and are unrelated to the Sisters of Battle (who are still waiting on plastic minis despite having been an established part of the setting for longer).

Space Wolf bossman is excellent. In general it looks like a good value set, although personally I wouldn't have a use for anything but that HQ.
As an aside, I do wish they wouldn't overuse "fell-handed" so much.. we had Bjorn, now this guy. Smacks of an inability to think up decent new epithets.

BoLS have some pics up of the minis and sprues. Overall, I'm liking what I see in terms of minis. I like Ahriman, he's characterful without being dialled up to 11 on the bling scale like the Space Wolf character (I'd give him a 9.5 ).
