Hey guys, having recently read this article on BoLS http://www.belloflostsouls.net/2010/05/ ... -much.html, I thought I would start a new topic to discuss how addicted we all are to the plastic crack.

I have in my vast and room filling collection:
Dark Angels
Imperial Guard
Tyranids
Blood Angels
Space Wolves
3+ Codex Space Marines (I have Crimson Fists, Ravenguard and Mantis Warriors and I am working on Salamanders and White Scars)
Necrons (only a few hundred points so far)

When new dexes come round, I'm interested in:
Black Templars
Dark Eldar
Tau
Daemon Hunters
Witch Hunters

So what do you guys have and what are you looking forward to? (For those of you who use proxies or use one set of models for multiple codexes, which codex do you usually use)?

Well I have

Orks (fun to play and fun to build and paint)
SM (Tired of them but the models are so cool)
CSM (Tired of them They are painted and fun but I am tired of them had them for 16 years now)
WORLD EATERS (my next big Modeling/Painting project) (count as Blood Angels or CSM or Space Wolves.Karn counts as Ragnar hehehe )
Tau (on the back burner until they get a new dex)
Dark Eldar (Will show up and kick the trash out of some one some day)
Necrons (they are not mine but I have them and I love the way they play)
Chaos Daemons. (very fun and they are painted)

I would love to have some

IG Grotz (fun to Build and play)
IG Jungle fighters (fun to play)
Eldar (fun to paint)

a fair whack of eldar, including 2 super heavies. largely unpainted, but Im working on em. They range in age from "Space elf with missile launcher" to the (comparatively) new plastic dire avengers. This is what Id consider to be my "main" army

about 3000pts of nurgle marines, all painted. Mostly I did these guys as a change from eldar, and partkly to see if I actually could paint a whole army.

Quite a lot of Tau, actually, which, like rob's, are on the back burner till a new dex comes out. I still quite like my converted battle suits, though. Might be fun for kill team, now I think about it...

various gangs n stuff. Spyer and Escher necro gangs, beastman mordheim gang, Miners and Steamfitters Union for Malifaux, and 3 BB teams (Dark Elf, CDwarf, and Zards). Im sorely, sorely temtped by Warmachine at the moment too. I have a weakness for metal models. I know lots of folks dont like em, but I just think that something called a Helljack should be...weighty.

Aside from that, I have all manner of random minis. Plenty from Heresy, cos I find em hard to resist.

A theoretical future development would be a super heavy detachment of traitor guard for my stinkies. 7 Super heavy tanks and about 30 guard, plus as many zombies as i can scrape together. At least 30 of em would be nice.

4,000 pnts of Imperial Guard including 2 super heavies (marauder destroyer not factored into it yet)

2,000 pnts of tyranids

2,000 pnts of Minotaurs

600 pnts of Eldar

All of these are in various states of painting and all of them need to be expanded upon (eldar are still up in the air if I will keep working on them) except the guard which I'm tired of Cadian models.

What I want

Word Bearers (my 30k project)

A new IG regiment (with the price hikes, two squads of cadians or catachans cost more than a squad of mordians or valhallans)

Demon army of some sorts (they look fun!)

Sisters of Battle/Witch Hunters (nuns with guns, what more could you ask for?)

with the current exchange rate you should go Forger World free shipping and a very reasonable DK Army might be do able...

not enough money at this point in time. also, I already have tallarn and mordians stateside which I can pick up when I go back
