Rules Book

One of the only issues I have with Malifaux is that the rules book is very strangely laid out. Each section of the rules is seperated by a short story. This makes for a very interesting book to read (and very characterful), but at the same time a pain when it comes to playing as it takes a while to find what you want.

SO....

Those awesome folks at Wyrd have decided to take MORE of my money by offering this

Lets hope that other workshop based gaming companies are paying attention. ;)

All the game rules and mission rules yes, but not the characters unique rules. You'll either need the cards or the original books for them. (Since the cards come with the models you should already have them anyway).
This book is just the 'game' rules.

All of the FAQs and Errata so far will also be included, along with explanations and diagrams to help clear things up.

Wyrd posted this on Twitter
Our goal with the Manual is to create 1 polished rule set, with all issues resolved. Something solid enough also to build a OP program on.
So tournaments anyone?

I left my books at home and deliberately didn't buy the small rulebook because I was waiting for the PDF to drop. Now it turns out that there are several things like schemes and most of the examples blacked out. And for some reason my brand new iPad has trouble displaying it correctly. Wtf wyrd!?! :x

They did say that the FREE pdf wouldnt have all the contents of the main book in right from the start since I imagine they do want to sell the book. As for the iPad thing, I have no idea.
