Some from the regiment, especially those with die-hard hatred against Greenskins joined the Crusade to the Border Prince. They garnish their uniform with yellow plums and ribbons showing their link to lost Solland and seek its avenge on every and each kinds of Greenskins.
In their battle against Da Free Apple Gang, they beaten Spider Riders back and fought courageously against a horde of Goblins.

Story:
When the Crusaders captured the ruined village, where the Maw Pit of Mawtooth Tribe had been digged, veterans of Sollander Avengers didn't satisfy with exterminating gnoblers infesting the place. They sought another battle for vengeance, trying to intercept coming Mawtooths on their way home.
Alas! They were no matches for brutal Ogres. Vuzgutt Feardrinker and Thrakk Gutgorger, along with their Irongut bodyguards, literally tore them apart. It was their last valor that they managed to beat Thrakk down near to death.

Notes:
The unit comprise various soldiers. Some came from Nuln alongside with Gunther, their master. Some are hired gun coming from Tilea via sea. Some are local residents, who fled from Ogres but came back and got training to defend their home villages.
They garrisoned the tower built next to what once was the Maw Pit of Mawtooth Tribe and kept fighting back even when most of them were down from their wounds. They bought enough time for the sell swords hired for reinforcement to arrive and outflank the Ogres.
Accidentally at the moment, it broke into a lightning storm and a thunderbolt hit Vuzgutt Feardrinker and his retinue. The slaughtermaster had already too much bullets in the battle and it made him believe cracks of handguns called the thunderbolt. It is why he dubbed the gunners "Da Thundercrackers".
