To be fair, Dark Eldar have only had two books, first one, the models weren't so hot and were in dire need of a redo. Whereas Eldar have had a great deal more and most of there models pass muster far better though more of the finecast could have been gotten rid of.

I know WE, Brets and Dwarfs all need a major overhaul. They are 6th Ed. army lists and not really suited for 8th Ed. But given the wave after wave of 40k, you would have thought they would have spent the time working on one of the major overhauls that one that was sitting fine.

As for HEs, ummm yeah add them to the WoC bad model selection. That was shockingly bad.

I guess for me, I have a DElf army up for sale. I could easily take it down and start working on it again, but nothing I have seen has really gotten my attention enough to make me even think of that.

I think you are right the Brets and WE need an overhaul desperately. Their lists and rules have long been antiquated, but dwarves still play like dwarves and seem to do fine in battles as long as they aren't required to go anywhere. :D So, if the dwarves get anything, I think it should be something to spice up the monotony of WS4 S3 T4 M3 guys. One unit is just like the next but with just a different weapon (which is of course one of the bedrocks of the lists strength).

Then again, two armybooks in three months seems really good for GW. They've lining them up and knocking down the armybook revisions for better or for worst. Surely WE and Brets can remain much longer outside the sunshine.

We got Pokemon birdies, flying rowboats and some cross dressing archers.

Sorry son, Space Marines rule Dark Elfdar drool. They've got 4 books to your two and they're in every 40k box release.

You disapprove of crossbreeding hamsters with horses?

So what ISN'T getting an update in this release? It looks like everything but the bases from here.

Corsairs and Cold One Knights got re-done last time.
Manticore rider/old-Beastmaster who disappeared from the last book.
Reaper Bolt throwers.
Shades.
Harpies.

All missed out this time round.
Mind you, only the harpies really need re-doing.

By the way, how did the semi-topless Medusa slip past the GW censors? The naughty, old metal Daemonettes supposedly had to go because their brazen sexuality did not sit well with all that violence (<-- complete hearsay). Why the change of heart?
