Anyways, back to the campaign. I present for your edification....

A Family Hunting Trip

The Armies arrayed against you represent Lady Ereth Helbane, known variously as the Ereth the Spiteful, or Ereth, Mistress of the Frosts, her retinue and household troops.

Accompanying Mistress Ereth are her daughter Anethra, a devotee of Khaine the bloody handed, and her nephew Alondir, a Knight commander of some renown. As befits a Sorceress of her stature and power, Ereth arrived in the Old World in no less a vessel than the ‘Oblivion’ one of the much feared Black Arks of Naggaroth. Mistress Ereth has also brought along some of her recently acquired ‘pets’, Balefire, a young War Hydra, hatched a mere two decades ago and as yet inexperienced in the ways of war and the manticore, Seradahn.

The motives for Mistress Ereth’s voyage are threefold. Firstly, to blood the beast Balefire and her other pets on the battlefields of the Old World. Secondly, to acquire slaves, to work in the plantations, mines and beast pens of the sprawling Helbane estates. Thirdly and perhaps most important of all, for sheer pleasure. Nothing is more pleasing to a Dark Elf, let alone one so vicious as Mistress Ereth, as the thrill of battle, the clash of steel on steel, the screams of the dying, the despair of the vanquished and the ecstasy of victory.

So, pray to what Gods you hold dear, for the Mistress of the Frosts has landed. There will be no mercy, no quarter given, none spared her attentions.
