Well, it looks like apologies are in order.
A while back there was a rather heated debate about whether or not there was any pattern to GW releases, particularly between Chaos Marines and Warriors of Chaos. I argued that there was no direct correlation and that it was just coincidence as there is only about 4 years between editions for GW to squeeze in it's core books (i.e not Brettonia or Wood Elves

). Job said that there was a pattern with 6 months between CSM and WoC.
It looks like WoC are getting a new book and new minis next month, 4 months on from the CSM codex. Now it could just be a coincidence, but it does seem to point to Job being correct.
So sorry Job, looks like I was wrong and you were right. I'll keep my mouth shut next time.

I say insufficient data sets! Revisit the argument in 12 years!

Has anyone played Brets in 8th? They are smashing models.
I like the Arthurian tone. Happy to hear there was a heated debate that I didn't cause or join in with.
Incidentally I'm keeping a fresh mind on gaming these days and enjoying the hobby for a change.

Don't play WHFB but I do have a mammoth Bret army.

I think they look great. If there were more variety in the Bretonnian codex, I would have chosen them over Empire for my second army. Probably will get some whenever they get refreshed.

Well kudos to Prim and none to me.
It is all water under the bridge I suppose and I'd sooner forget the argument and think about the more fun aspects of WFB.
As for Bretts, I've been sorely tempted to play them but the painting has to be crazy. To many colors and heldry for a painter of my skill.
I've considered a WoC army, too, but looking at GWs prices, it would be an atrocious waste of money. (Did GW raise prices again recently?)
I think I'll stick to my Dogs of War army and scrounge for older models.

Funny you should mention WoC, I've got a good sized force I'd be willing to let go pretty cheap.
Like Everyone else, Brets are a cool choice. I don't find the colors daunting but the heraldry is a nightmare.
