Who is playing what

Post by Colonel Voss » Mon Feb 14, 2011 12:23 am

I thought I would add this thread so that we can know who is playing what armies to make it easier to issue challenges for battles. Coming to a _______ will be used to mean that the army is not yet ready but be prepared for it to emerge at some point.

So please include your army and preferrably you primary general's name (so that challenges can be issues in character 8-) ) and I will add it to my post.

*Colonel Voss is pure evil for now, as if my siggy didn't let you know that already.

For my table top ready armies:
High Elves, led by Prince Archerion the Prim.
Vampire Counts, led by The Bride of Badruckula (that was the name given when a certain admiral fielded them at the WFB tournament and I think it sounds cool when said in a cheesey horror movie vampire voice).

For my non-tabletop ready armies and by that I mean, 'not glued together' rather than 'unpainted', though they are also unpainted:
Skaven, led by Grey Seer Wrettch Middenclaw (I am working on getting these guys up to 2000 points)
Lizardmen, led by Shaq Taqtiks
Orcs and Goblins, led by Gutripper the Unthinkable.

Alas, as of game 2 the Wood Elf General Talonveriel and his noble steed were stomped six feet under by a high elven dragon.

Fortunately, the other characters survived:

Calonveriel - Talonveriel's brother.

Chief Awei - a less than scrupulous leader of a band of 'bows for hire'

Salamandar - that scoundrel of a spell singer

But there is talk of the Hawk Lord's stirring and the high cliffs echo with dark tales of a woman's vengeance!

Cue sinister music :x

I guess I'm fortunate in that the fluff in my head, Schtroumpf-Father is a position rather than an individual. There will always be a Schtroumpf-Father! Kill one, another takes his place. Such is the strength (and it's about all they've got, strength-wise, so let 'em have it) of a goblin horde.
