My latest work

The Sting Wing had a fairly worth less game against Primes Mech-Wolves but proved to be a real thorn in Mike the Magnets side... they have done well for me in most of my games so far... the are great at killing Eldar and do a number on Marines as well... I am thinking of getting a second squad but before I get anymore models I had to get them painted... I hope people do not say too many things negative about them... the spoon I used to paint them with was and army painter spoon nothing fancy..and I also did a bit of air-spooning for the base coat.... any constructive advice is welcome... I am rather happy with them and that is what really counts...

They look pretty good. At the moment they kind of blend into the base a bit too much so I hope you're going to do something with that. Other than that they look good.
Are the eyes painted? Its hard to tell from the pictures. If not, you should definitely give them some brightly coloured eyes to make them stand out a bit. Bright blue or red perhaps?

the Bases are going to be redish brown sand stone like the rest of the army :D ... as for the Eyes they are just to small for my spoons I have no idea how I am going to paint them... so for now until I can get a better spoon they are stuck with grey eyes... :(

Yeah, they look cool. I like the base work as well. Keep up the good work mate.
What is a spoon in painting terms? If it is the same as the one you use when you eat soup I recommend you to use a fine brush for the eyes instead. As Prim said, they would look even better. :)

@Seb - Yes, a spoon in painting terms is a spoon in soup terms as well.

@ Badruck - And I said 'trowel' not spoon.

It might be a bit small. Probably a closer match for a Piranha or Tetra.

this fellow is probably more useful as a Hammerhead.
