Got some new paints and had a great evening.

I really like this model. Not sure if I'm going to attach the weird flying baby to him that comes in the packet.

Managed to get a couple of hours today. First time since June! I got quite a lot done.
Followed an old painting guide for Empire Spearmen from a citadel miniatures back when Rick Priestley was the editor. Very simple and easy to do, a few layers, no inks or washes needed. I had forgotten about the fun of following a paint scheme that's already tried and tested.
I had fun today.

Is that Asterix I see behind that Spearman? I had a couple sets of the the metal figures. Can't remember who made them. Now that would be a ridiculously fun Mordheim warband.
