The Road to NagoyaHammer 2015

With next year's NagoyaHammer booked, it's time for me to start working out what I intend to do army wise. I've always found that painting towards an event gives me more motivation to get stuff done and a deadline to work to.
Now, as most of you are no doubt aware I have been focussing pretty heavily on historical miniatures this year, however that is going to change a little in the coming months. I need to clear my workbench and then I will be on to painting 40K. Likewise, I have a few historical games lined up between now and the end of November, but after that I plan on playing a lot more 40K to get back into the swing of things and try to figure out a balanced list for NH.
Right now, my plan is to expand my Raven Guard by adding some marines from my stockpile. After that I will see which army I feel like doing next.
For those of you who enjoy the historicals, don't worry, I'll keep playing those too and working on my armies when I feel like a change, but I'm pretty well sorted for all the games I play, so I can spare a few months to focus on more grim-dark stuff.
The first order of business is getting my painting desk cleared. I have a unit of Napoleonic British half done, some Waffen-SS, a couple of tanks and a few bits and pieces underway. I also promised Komura san I would have a couple more Samurai units done by the end of November. So I will work to get all that done and try and put together some 40K minis as and when I have time.
