Rogue Trader Ork army

I have been scouring Ebay recently and picking up OOP RT era ork minis, specifically those sculpted by the master himself, Kev Adams.

Here is the first of many;

He does need a going over with some brush on matt varnish (bugger using that spray on rubbish!!) to get rid of the shine.

Well I've got;

2 Big Meks with shokk attack guns
3 mobs of 12 boys with nobs
8 lootaz with a mek
8 kommandos with nob
1 skorcha
2 wartrakks

The whole lot is metal and all predate 1992.

They will all be getting painted (in between the pile of Bretts I need to do )

The stuff you've got is all around the same time. The plastic RT orks came out after RTB02 but still before '92.

Hey! I know I have that guy. I still field my old RT Orks even now when I need to make up the numbers.
We must get some R.T going one of these days. I brought my Stunties back with me.

YES!!!! Got to get them all painted first but once they are done I will be well up for some old skool RT fun. A small skirmish would be nostalgic niceness.

I got some more RT stuff in the post. So, I now have;

The whole lot is metal 1st ed lovliness. I am very, very excited about painting them. just need to finish scratchbuilding the trukk for them.

Just make sure you have a dinosaur in a cage or something that can get free and attack the nearest model for that true Rogue Trader random coolness.

Do you have the 15,000 supplements released in White Dwarf and random books to go along with your RT rules though? Will you get the full RT experience if you dont have players using rules that no-one else has seen and that dont really make a lot of sense?
Some seriously cool looking retro armies would be wicked though.
