To be totally honest, I agree with the poster in the other forum, you need to add more to them. Right now they are still very very not-orky. I like what you did with the grots hanging out the back, but they need some more work doing to them to stop them looking like Leman Russ's with a couple of pieces of plasticard stuck on.

Its a good start and I think they will look great in the future. Ganbatte kudasai. :D

looking good, but I second (third?) the need for more smashed up bitz. I have actually used two pairs of pliers to rip pieces of model apart and then stuck em together again for my nurgle stuff (my plague tower, so no pics, yet) but you need to do it kinda carefully.

you could maybe cut some gouges out of the bodywork then stick small strips of plasticard over em and put rivets on to make em look like theyd been hastily repaired? just generally more chips, dents, blast holes, and rivetted repairs will make a big difference.

still, theyre looking not too shabby at all, and the grots are ace :)

little Gort Mek:
Comrade Prime and Comrade MIJ you have a bit of a good point more battle damage and more rivets but TBH it is a "Grot Revolutionary Vehicle" not and Ork Looted Wagon. The look must be uniform as well kept. the Gorzt revolution will bring a degree of civilization as opposed to the Fascist Orks. The secretary general of the grot revolution will not accept orkyness in the Grot Revolucion
"weez gona build it up for you comrades!"

Mate, love the idea, you've got the grots and the tanks, but I think you are capable of MOAR awesome.

Image

Moar jagged teeth plating, Moar banged up orky bitz, Moar custom turrets, marine heads on spikes, banner poles.

definately on the right track, but if you had maybe 70 percent of the tank covered up with plasti -plating and bits, it would be right on the money!

go go revolution!

I will be doing more but I think what needs to be understood is these are Grotz not Orks.. once I get some of the infantry done you will see what I mean... as for Orky stuff that is more for Badruck's Boyz they are Pirates and for that reason they well have more Orky Piratical goodness... I hope people will come around to my vision of the Grot IG army no one seem to get it yet. but hopfuly that will change with the infantry....

If you're happy with them, then that is what matters I guess.
I think, from my point of view, that the Grots
A) wouldnt have easy access to fully equipped and operational IG tanks
and
B) wouldnt be able to keep them in full working order easily since they lack the spares and skills to do so.
But as I said, its your army, build it how you want.

I was thinking more along the lines of that for a kind of Grot Pirates list...built around the idea of thieving gitz but Kommunist Revolutionaries is the new way of doing it... I think it has potential a and after all is said and done I think it will be an army that every one will like...

added 2 more tanks to the kause and gave all 4 a bit of rust colored paint... I still have a long way to go but it is looking more like and Army...I have 55 Grots in the mail. and around 20 some where in my game room so far I only have this unit of Grot Gerillaz (counts as penal legion)
