Why a new section?

Due to some recent comments about the lack of good story-telling in games I thought that having somewhere dedicated to the fluff and background of games would be useful.
Please feel free to post background, fan-fiction and narrative battle reports in this section. Try to keep comments constructive please. Not everyone is a Tolkein or Shakespeare.
When posting, please make it clear which system you are writing for.
