I didn't know you owned epic models too, that would make things even more interesting.
Ehrmagerd I have so many epic models.
Forgeworld did a whole Epic Tau line, which would now be extremely hard to find and extremely expensive, but I'm sure thingiverse can set you up.
Yeah, epic scale Tau are a pain to find from what I've heard. Anwyay since my titans are obviously Imperial/Chaos titans I have decided to go for a Chaos army instead. I might have my hands on a decent chunk of a proxy epic army by them. With the titans and aircraft that I currently have I should be able to come up with a decent mixed force as well.
Converting ranges to epic is probably one of the most important factors when converting but after some quick math, it seems like just dividing ranges by 3 basically converts ranges from regular 40k to AT so we could just do that. Also for our first game it would probably be best just to ignore unnecessary complications like firing arcs and facing as per the current apoc rules. We could homebrew them in later if it turns out well. Other than that we'd be using the multi model bases instead of movement trays and stuff which is probably pretty straight forward too.
If you have any thoughts on how to handle the rules I'd be happy to incorporate them as well.
The list building rules for apoc probably aren't a huge problem either. I gave it a shot on Battlescribe and I figure I could probably field around 500 to 1000 PL easily. For reference, a Warlord, a Reaver, and two Warhounds add up to around 375 PL.
