Yes, just like nearly every other game, you are required to buy the rulebook.
And its pretty new and a minor game so dont expect too many pdfs to be out there either.

I have 2 copies of the rulebooks if people want to buy them. The above links are for tokens and roster sheets, which everyone WILL need copies of.
