Sweet monkey on a bicycle thats a lot of little toy soldiers. I have no idea which models are supposed to go on which bases. Some kind of instruction manual would have been nice.
That's what the Black and White Diagrams on the PDF are for.
British rifle squads are made up of 2 teams of 5 figures each. As they are Rifle/MG squads there should be one Bren Gun per squad and an NCO figure. If you have a few Bren gunners left over you can sub them for normal troopers. Just as long as you fire them as a Rifle MG team.
Your platoon command Rifle/MG team will be 3 figures on a small base (One Officer, one Bren Gunner and one whatever).
Your two company command teams are rifle teams and should be one or two officer figures on a small base with one extra to make up the three.
PIAT teams consist of one PIAT operator and one loader on a small base.
A light mortar team consists of a Mortar gunner and loader on a small base.
That should do for a start anyways. Good luck and let me know how you are going.
P.S. Are you basing them first and then painting them or using some sort of assembly line method?
