Re: the factions
For sure it's important to have some synergy with your models, especially in my army, Protectorate of Menoth. I bought the starter set and a choir, and lost almost every game. Then I bought one more 'jack and won almost every game with the same caster. So buy cool models, but also buy stuff that works well with them even if it's not as cool.

The Gloy faction. Metal Health and Saftey Robot Officers armed with chainmail dungarees and hi viz jackets.
Nyah, special move Gloy chop and She Blocks You.

Re: the factions
It'll be interesting to see how all these armies take shape. Just judging from the difference between Prim's and my Khador, I think having more than one player for each faction is good. It brings more variety and interest to the field. The armies can be tailored to each players preferred way so even though Prim's got some good builds, I don't feel like I need to follow him and allowing puny mercenary forces to stain a pure Khador army nor will I stand to have ne'er do wells near my glorious pikemen.
I'm going a completely different direction and my most recent purchase really shows this.

It's easy to die in the swamp. What's hard is to staying dead.

They are pretty awesome! Although I know some people who would disagree, at least about their Warjacks.Dungeon Lord wrote:It is hard to go wrong when choosing Protectorate minis, they all look awesome!

Their warjacks are what makes them look cool. Plus some of their infantry. Well, I guess some people just don't like cool stuff...

Re: the factions
Actually, I think the coolest thing in Protectorate of Menoth if the Monk (Allegiate of the Order of the Fist)! You guys get a kung-fu monk - how sweet is that?! Someday, they`ll make a unit of them, I bet.

Re: the factions
Menoth jacks have a nice twist to them, but my favorite model is the Order of the Wall Paladin.
