I may have to borrow some models off you since it would appear that my last warjack wont arrive in time for the game. I can do 15 points, but not 25.

On another note, what do people think of the idea of 5 Beserkers and the Butcher? (at 24 points) Cheesey or crazy?

mm cheesey and crazy and potentially a game winner. I Think its a solid list. Full throtlling so many berzerkers sounds brutal haha. You probably want a nice open grassy plains to field them on rather than a ground littered with bits of terrain, since its a large base list, and could be prone to traffic jam in tight spots. Also, I have"t actually faced one, but an all incorporeal army might cause some problems, you"ll need some magical weapons to deal with them.

Looking over the Khador book, an all incorporeal army or an all stealth army would be easy to beat with Khador if I went out and bought some new models. There are quite a few models which have magic weapons and Khador generally dont have a lot of shooting. If I bought an all melee force with magic weapons, all those points paid for incorporeal or stealth would be a real waste.

And in a completely unrelated form to the previous post, what do folks think of Greylords, Doom Reavers and Fenris?

its not like you pay extra points for em. Ghost Pirates are ghost pirates whichever way you cut em. Which, generally, you dont, cos theyre ghost pirates...


and, as it happens, i have no ghost pirates and have no intention of getting any. I have 2 plans for cryx at the mo: slinky and stinky. No space for pirates in there at all. Sorry Cap'n...

Greylords, Doom Reavers and Fenris?

Doom Reavers are in the basic book. Greylords are small squads of magic chucking old geezers (one of which allows Reavers to ignore their 1 drawback). Fenris is like a Doom Reaver, but with 2 great swords, on a psycho-horse...of DOOM!!!! He's also really really expensive. (25 quid just for him).
