cant say im that impressed with the cryxian chap. Ooh. An open fist at PS16 and a Range 8 harpoon at PS14. Gosh. I think we already have one of those. Its called a Reaper. Ok, the reaper's harpoon is PS12, but an extra 2 points on PS is not selling an entire mini to me. And, Im not a fan of "upgrade kits" to make a new warjack, either. What if you dont have a plastic kit kicking around? And, I happen to like different looking models in my armies. Its one of the biggest draws of the hobby, I reckon. If all of em start looking the same, but with different heads, theyre in danger of turning into space marines. (GW seem to believe that different chapters of marines are in fact different armies. Theyre not. From the Eldar POV, theyre all just Space Marines. It gets boring, after a while. And people wonder why we stock up on AP3 weapons...)

Anyway, back to Warmachine - Ho hum, maybe the new chap has fancy special rules to make him different. Let's hope so

The cryx one has two special rules, it can take souls and start every turn with one soul. Each soul give him +1ARM and maybe something more I don´t remember. The second rule if it hits one warjack can take control of the warjack and make one movement and one attack. I don´t know if it true or not.

a-hah! now we're talking! That sounds much more interesting. He is a character warjack, after all. Something special seems reasonable

I am not sure if it must hit with the harpoon or in melee, in order to do this special ability.

I'm liking it, an open fist, a circular saw, what look like grenade launchers, a flame thrower and it sounds like it comes with Pathfinder too.
