No, this isn't a rehash of the old "Who's on first" routine, but rather an attempt to see which factions everyone has.
This was posted by M_i_J elsewhere.

So, what faction do you have and why?

Personally, I play
Khador. They may be slow, they may be boring, but they hit like an avalanche and are very hard to kill.

Gah! My attempts to stop that blood pressure elevating discussion on the failings of GW and 40k have come to naught
Cryx because they're eeeeeeviiiill
Trollbloods for 3 reasons:
1) they're big, angry trolls
2) they have bazookas, miniguns and flaming barrels of gunpowder
3) they're big angry trolls with bazookas, miniguns and flaming barrels of gunpowder.
although technically I haven't actually played trollbloods yet.

Khador- Cold and tough from the north, can't beat that.
Circle of Oboros- trixie they is, lots of movement games and an interesting challenge
Retribution of Scryah- Interesting choices that force me to think outside my comfort zone. However, if this paint scheme doesn't go together properly soon, I will be trading them away for another faction!

I (will) have Cygnar. Mainly because I want something not everybody has. Adds to variety and all that. Plus I wanted to be "good" for a change (yes I know it isn't as clear who is bad/good as other systems). They also shoot, that will be fun trying to figure out strategies to make them work.
The only drawback: more blue guys

but mine will be black. Problem solved.

The Protectorate of Menoth because they look cool, and because they are an fanatical group of desert dwellers who worship a vengeful Old Testament-style god. What's not to like?

In the fluff, there were a group of evil human enslavers who used dark magic, called the Orgoth. They dominated the lands of the WarMachine kingdoms for hundreds of years until they were repelled in a series of wars. Then, Cryx said, "Nope. Those guys aren`t evil enough!" and wiped the Orgoth out (stealing a lot of their dark magic secrets in the process). And when you think about it, Cryx`s biggest enemy now is the Legion of Everblight - the baddies in Hordes. I think nothing says pure evil like Cryx; they`re so evil they want to dominate/obliterate all other evil competitors even.
Anyway, I play Cygnar because - like Dungeon Lord - they were kind of the leftover faction no one wanted to play when I joined our WarmaHordes circle. I continue to play them because I like their synergies and their warjacks look cool.
I also have a massive Trollblood army (larger than my Cygnar). I chose Trolls for many of the same reasons as MIJ, but also for the following reasons:
1. They have cavalry - heavy cavalry - that consist of Trolls riding buffalos! How friggin` sweet is that?!!!
2. The designers wanted the Scout miniatures to look like "rural folk", so one has a bottle of moonshine, one accompanying Pyg is playing a banjo, and the unit leader is carrying a pig. Too sweet.
3. Their heavy warbeasts have arule called "snacking" - they heal when they eat living models!
4. Mulg. He`s so big and old, he is becoming a mountain. Yes, he is actually becoming a mountain. And he carries a close combat weapon: a tree!
5. The story in the fluff when Hoarluk Doomshaper first encountered Mulg.
6. One of their warlocks has a rule called "stumbling drunk" - if he imbibes from the keg of beer carried by his trusted Pyg assistant, he will literally stumble out of close combat IN A RANDOM DIRECTION the first time he gets hit. Too funny!
7. Easier to paint than Skorne or Circle.
8. The MOuntain King model is awesome.
