Im currently sticking together a Deathjack. Granted, it's a sonovabitch, but it is at least a unique looking model.

I consider aesthetics to be more important than ease-of-production (or ease-of-assembly, for that matter).
awww, shucks...And thats why PP is a succesful business and you are an ace painter.
true, true. Ive been doing a bit of reading about the Iron Kingdoms recently - reading some of the RPG books n whatnot (Y'all may know I enjoy the art side of the hobby. I'm also a closet fluff junkie...), and indeed, mass production does seem to be the order of the day.To each their own I say. Similar-ish looking jacks make sense from an in-game point of view too. If you're going to manufacture 100's of steam powered killing machines, its more economical to make them similar than to make all of them unique little snowflakes.
yeesh, tell me about it. I've literally spent all day putting together my Deathjack. The basic pose from-the-box is pants. Zero dynamism. So, I gave some thought to a bit of conversion. I was torn between gorilla-knuckling-along and psycho-killer-ripping-soul-asunder poses, and eventually settled on gorilla. Seriously though - that torso piece is absolutely un-convertable. The bloody head is looking at the bloody knees, no matter how hard you try to make it otherwise. And those fingers! every bloody digit had to be reposed...And as someone who doesnt have the patience for green stuff or pinning, ease of assembly is great.
Amen!Buy the models you like, ignore the ones you dont and have a damn good time playing games!
