Ashmie, what are you thinking?
What about people who have been steadfast in their commitments and made no request? (did I? I don't recall asking for anything.)
Thanks for leaving us in a lurch. Just don't ask or expect any commitments from me for a while. May it serve as a point that if you are going to run an event but every time your feelings vacillate and you cancel, don't expect me to give you a commitment.
Mind you, when you are talking about commitments and pulling out of things, are you even being introspective about what you are saying?
And why do you care what Mike writes? He's not coming to the event. He's just trolling in his typical way to point out what he thinks is folly.
Sorry, maybe some of this is over ill-temperate, but it has been incredibly frustrating to have to deal with your continuing flip-flopping.
Tsu games weekend 2013 March 3rd.

Re: CANCELLED Tsu annual games weekend 2013 CANCELLED
Hey Job. Like I said sorry it didn't pan out.
It's not what anyone person said. The reason is a mixture of whinings and demands from an amalgamation of people over the years that has decided me to cancel. Nitpicking too. I just want to chill when I game and perhaps need to find the right group/game style for me.
How about organising an event? You'll see what I mean when it gets big scale. Very stressful. Or better still just ask Prim. It's a lot of work.
Don't worry dude I don't expect commitment on anything gaming wise but thanks for attending this year and last. Its sad I cant make more time for the hobby these days. Just hope to game with you again someday. Once again sorry for cancelling this time. It's not ideal for me either as I was looking forward to it.
No hard feelings.

Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

Re: CANCELLED Tsu annual games weekend 2013 CANCELLED
Sorry, about being all stormy towards you, but I think some of this was coming the way you flip-flopped on this event in the past week after collecting a lot of enthusiasm from a lot of people.
Truth be told, why do you care what whining people say? The fact is you don't need to trouble yourself about them. The majority of us like you for who you are. Nor will anyone who whines like you more if you go about pleasing them. Not saying anything against trying to please people, but you shouldn't please people more than you can endure their dissatisfaction. (Anyway, whining people probably aren't in the practice of being pleased people.) Running an event can be a thankless job, but you shouldn't make your position worse by promising things you won't deliver. In this case, if you are going to run an event, please keep the promise out respect for yourself and everyone else who has given you a promise in return. There's something to be said for constancy.
I'll let this slide, but I hope you understand you really got me really steamed when I spotted this (again within 48 hours) after I finished work. Sorry for the preachy bit, too.
Cheers.

Re: CANCELLED Tsu annual games weekend 2013 CANCELLED
Understood and noted. Thanks for your understanding and apologies again. I've done my fair share of events over the past few years. I don't need to do anymore it seems. Someone else can take care of it.

Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

On a lighter note. Change the channel there is a war going on between the Primarchs on the other side.
See you around.

Re: CANCELLED Tsu annual games weekend 2013 CANCELLED
Good enough. Do what you must. I wasn't trying to discourage you from doing the events, but if you feel it gives you more peace at home, that is more important.
It is just a bit disappointing because after coming down January, I was looking forward to seeing Tsu more often. Additionally I was thinking about sponsoring a Tsu Bowl and loop in you Mie-Tsu guys (creating a parallel up here in Nagoya hopefully) but with you closing shop it kind of deflates hopes of that happening anytime soon, or it seems to me currently.
I know you've got a kid, work, wife that wants you near the house, and colds and flues probably partially induced by working with children all the time. Sorry about the raving and I hope to have chill games with you in the future.
About the War, I'm trying to stay clear of that.
What are mere mortals when Titans clash? (granted I am the proud holder "supremeprimarch" as an email address.
)
