Obon gaming (Nagoya core group)

Post by Miggy Smallz » Tue Jul 20, 2010 4:11 am

I really want to do some roleplaying over the break. I know that the Underdweller and Ian can't go, and Jon, John and Tom all have difficult schedules, but are there any games you'd be interested in playing? I'd like to download the MAID RPG and give it a shot. Of course, I also wanted to DM a side mission for Tom's game, but wanted to play anything else Hentiger or Tom wanted to run.

Schedule is iffy at this point (isn't it always?), but if we did a game marathon during Obon, would you want to play? I'm talking about one-shots here, unless we're furthering the plot of existing campaigns.

Sorry Miggy, my Obon is full of visiting relatives and running Warhammer Tournaments.

y'know, upon my travels through the forums I actually clicked on that Nobilis link and then found myself reading the entire thing. It actually looks quite interesting. Shame I have never roleplayed, and have zero time to do so. Ho hum. Maybe in another life...

RPing doesn't take too much time, once you've generated a character. Of course, if you're painting legions of miniatures I can understand how your time might be at a premium.
Same way with me and TTWGs; Quite simply, the wife would kill me if I got started.
I'll have to read that link on Nobilis; I came across the rules PDF a while ago, but haven't read them yet. So many games,...

Before Comike, I'm up for the odd one-shot game. I don't really plan to go anywhere aside from the 13th, 14th, and 15th.

Hiya, I've never actually RPed either, but it seems interesting, and I was thinking of giving a try one of these days. Now would be a good time actually, since its still summer vacation hmm.

I'd play Rifts if it was core book only. Some of the later expansions got pretty ridiculous.
