I can't speak as to the quality of their new plastics, but the metal ones are lovely and at 50c and model I think they will be fine. :D
I've got a couple too and they are fine minis. And as a company, Reaper is very not GW. And yes at 50c a mini, I certainly won't be complaining about anything short of them looking like bubblegum stuck to the bottom of my shoe.

In the kickstarter pledge manager, when it comes out, could you add 20bucks for me, please? I appreciate you're short of funds, but if it helps (and I suspect it will) I can do a UK bank transfer of funds direct to your UK account from mine (I can do that ASAP, if you PM me your account details. If you prefer yen, I can do that, too.) I wants me a Chthulu and a skelly dragon :D

I'd also like a few of those familiars, onegai shimaaaasu :)

Howdy all :)

I've been doodling again. Here's where I think it stands...

The basic Bones package looks like this:

Primarch - 41 undisputed, 4 disputed, $30 buy-in extras (hydra and daemons)
Konrad - 24 undisputed (plus, say, half a dozen dungeon crawlers), 2 disputed, $9.50 buy-in extras (note: 7 bucks for deep ones, 2.50 for half a swamp things.)
MiJ - 41 undisputed (counting Sophie as 5), 4 disputed, $47.50 buy-in extras (Nethyrmaul, Kaladrax, Chthulu, 2.50 for half a swamp things)
Kojibear - 8 undisputed, 1 disputed, $10 buy-in extras (skelly giant)

Latecomers

Mus - 5 NOVA and 6 IMEF
Job - 2 Dwarves

I dont know what others are paying, but I'm in for $25 of Bones stuff (= 1/5 total Bones minis, = err, about 43 or so. I can't find a definitive number, but i seem to recall 217 being mentioned.)

I owe Prim 25 bucks for the buy in, plus 47.50 for the extras I ordered = $72.50
Others should work out what they owe with Prim.

Total things Prim should include in the RKPM:

One Bones Vampire level pledge =100
Shipping = 25
Extra set of Swamp Things = 5
Hydra = 15
Demons = 15
Nethyrmaul = 25
Skaladrax = 10
Chthulu = 10
Deep Ones = 7
Skeleton Giant = 10

Total =222 yankeebucks

If anybody thinks anything is wrong here, speak now or forever hold yer peace...
Here's the final pic:
*edit* Gah, just imagine a big yellow circle on Nethyrmaul, will yez...

Well my Mrs said she is quite keen on being a sorceress now.

This is the one that is currently picked out for her:

Is it Ok for a sorceress do you think?

Or is this more appropriate?

For cuteness I am sure she would probably like the first one.

Well, I got the pledge manager link from Reaper and sorted everything out.
We will receive the following sometime next year.

Vampire x1 $100 (This is the main stash of loot to divide up)
Undead Giant x1 $10 (Koji)
Deep Dwellers x1 $7 (Konrad)
Nethyrmaul x1 $25 (M_i_J)
Swamp Things x2 $10 (One set comes in the Vamp order. Konrad and M_i_J wanted one each. I purchased 1 more for myself).
Hydra x1 $15 (Primarch)
Kaladrax Reborn x1 $10 (M_i_J)
C'thulhu x1 $10 (M_i_J)

@Koji - The first model is nicer IMHO.

So, Reaper have been hard at work getting concept art sculpted. They have also had a couple of set backs.
First of all, 2 of the elves weren't finished by their deadline, so they have subbed in two similar looking minis instead.

Everything else is full steam ahead.

Couple days ago this went up on reaper's site and the kickstarter:
To all international backers!!

Greetings everyone~

For those who do not know me I am the President here at Reaper. Currently my full time job is planning, organizing and supplying the pieces to fulfill the Kickstarter.

As we all already know, in the last 3 days the KS ramped up from an unbelievable 1.5mil and 7,000 people to a staggering 3.5 mil and 17,000. There are worse problems to have, but it has created a logistics nightmare that I am working through.

My job is to have everything promised in the KS into everyone's hands during, or before, March 2013. To make this result happen I have already had to make several decisions. Some are simple decisions, like hold everything up for two weeks so a sculptor can send something in that was already past due, or substitute two existing models into the KS and keep everything on track. I chose to keep everything on track. Other decisions were not as easy. Like holding up international orders and consolidating them into one shipment.

The reason for this decision was not one of "losing money." For once in Reaper's history that is not the problem, but I do understand the obvious assumption here. The problem at the moment is paint bottles. For the KS we expected to need to produce 100,000. We confirmed the amount was available from the supplier and moved on. The reality is 300,000 bottles of paint are needed and I won't even get the last part of the shipment until Nov 5th. Then it still need to be produced, pumped, packed etc.

AT THE MOMENT the plan is to ship domestic what I have. (First shipment) Then combine first and second shipments for international backers. I am researching shipping figure cases and Sophies for international backers, but I still do not have final data pending the end of the Reaper Pledge Manager period.

While I stand by my decisions, I will say I seriously dropped the ball by not keeping everyone abreast of the current situations. My tunnel vision of solving the problems blinded my to the equally important matter of communicating with everyone involved and for that I sincerely apologize to you.

Now with all that said I want to add that we are now, and have always been, a customer service oriented company. We have never denied or disputed a credit card transaction when the customer has changed their mind for any reason. If you are not satisfied and want out, please send an email which includes your Amazon Transaction number to matt@Reapermini.com and and he will make it happen.
Dunno about you, but I'm quietly impressed. We need more of this kind of transparency *koff*GW*koff*

Poor wee things, exceeding their predicted sales by an extra 200%. :cry: :cry:

Yeah, they have been pretty decent about things, I have had a half dozen emails since the KS ended, including the one above. As nothing we ordered was going to be shipped early anyway except for the Sophie model, it's not that big a deal. But it is nice to hear from them regardless. :D
