Man, I just kicked my WOW habit. Now this?

Re: 40K MMO: Feel the Grimdark!
So long as its free to buy, free to play, and I dont get pwned by players who spend all day every day on it getting ridiculous power ups, I may be interested in perhaps, possibly looking at it.
The trailers look cool, but I am NOT a fan of MMORPGs.

That is absolutely my opinion of MMORPGs. Looking at myself objectively, I should love em, but I just shy away from their life-devouring immersion. mini-based games are bad enough, I certainly dont need an addiction that I can feed any time I'm on the internet...
current (2019) hobby interests
eh, y'know. Stuff, and things
Wow. And then Corona happened. Just....crickets, all the way through to 2023...

I can't really see that happening. These kind of things are designed to swallow your soul!Primarch wrote:So long as its free to buy, free to play, and I dont get pwned by players who spend all day every day on it getting ridiculous power ups, I may be interested in perhaps, possibly looking at it.

I have never played these kinds of games but I can only imagine what what kind of addiction it would be... looks so cool...

Dude, if you are a game junkie, it's like crack, heroine, morphine, and Magic the Gathering all rolled into one!Admiral-Badruck wrote:I have never played these kinds of games but I can only imagine what what kind of addiction it would be... looks so cool...

Plus you have to keep paying month after month just to be allowed to play the game. Its not like real 40k where you can theoretically stop paying for models if you want to.fox_in_japan wrote:Dude, if you are a game junkie, it's like crack, heroine, morphine, and Magic the Gathering all rolled into one!Admiral-Badruck wrote:I have never played these kinds of games but I can only imagine what what kind of addiction it would be... looks so cool...
