When this was announced, I was all against it:

I don't like limited edition miniatures - there's no benefit for the consumers, and then you get to pay extra for the 'privilege'.
Well, guess what Muggins bought at Salute on Saturday?
Still, it was handy for carrying all the
other purchases in?.

Hypocrisy is good for the soul.
How was Salute? The Spevna would very much like to go one year.

It was rather spiffing, all things considered. I think I've bought the next year's supply of miniatures, as it happens. A few things I hadn't considered - "not-Homeworld" spaceships from Antenociti's Workshop (apparently they'll be under the name "Fate Amenable to Change", and a no-prize for getting the reference), and a "not-Tank Girl" from Ammon Miniatures.
A few of us have put up photos online:

Dropzone Commander seems to be the standout from this year. Looks like we're all getting in to 10mm Sci fi.
Oh, and if you fast-forward to 12:14, you can see the back of me:

Don't bother with the rest of it - it's a BoW video, after all.

Cheers for sharing. That 10mm game does have some rather spiffing minis.
