Not sure, but maybe seeing as how zombies are all mindless "brrrrraaaiiiinzzzz" drones, it might appear that operating a complex piece of machinery like a motorbike might be a bit of a stretch for em. They certainly seem to struggle with door handles in most f the movies...

You're getting your zombie tropes mixed up.
The film which introduced the brain-eating zombies, Return of the Living Dead had reasonably intelligent undead - mentally quite capable of riding a bike (although depending on the level of decomposition, perhaps not physically capable
) George Romero's mindless shambling monsters wordlessly craved any flesh, not just human brains.

Interesting about the zombies chaps, I have read a *heck* of a lot of the Dredd stories as you lot probably have too, but can't remember there ever being zombies sentient enough to ride bikes. Judgement Day is probably the most famous zombie story (nay, epic) but they were pretty mindless in that. But you know, anything goes in that world, and there may well be stories I haven't read that make it fine and dandy. Actually I like the idea, it should be a larf.

Isn't Judge death not technically a zombie? he was quite capable of killing a whole planet, and in the dredd universe normal rules do not apply.

Some interesting developments for those interested in JDMG over at Mongoose..
-Blood on the Streets supplement now up for pre-order at 25GBP.
http://www.mongoosepublishing.com/minia ... reets.html
Quite a lot of info there, judging by the contents page it looks mainly like the book is comprised of scenario ideas, but lots of other useful stuff is included.
-Judda boxed set will be out too.
Pdf samples of Blood on the Streets here.
http://www.mongoosepublishing.com/pdf/botspre1.pdf
http://www.mongoosepublishing.com/pdf/botspre2.pdf
I'll wait to see what the Warlord deals are before buying it.
++Edit++
A day later, and Warlord now has the supplement on pre-order, Early December release. Same price.
Nice run down here.

I thought these old Dredd strips might be fun to look at.
Found some nice images from the Burger Wars story arc of the Cursed Earth serial. This story was banned in the UK. Sadly they haven't been reprinted in the Dredd Casefiles Vol.2, indeed they haven't been published for quite a few years and may never be again, since MacDonald's took umbrage at the idea of a satire involving a scuzzy post-apocalyptic gang led by an insane version of Ronald MacDonald, fighting arch-enemy the Burger King.
On reflection, they ought to have just called him Donald McRonald, would've saved some hassle..

Kleggs! Cold-blooded in all senses of the phrase. Kleggs! scaly ne'er do wells lumbering through the pedways of the terrified Mega City. Kleggs! They're 'orrible.
It looks like Mongoose (Warlord sure to follow imminently) are releasing a dedicated Klegg force in box set form, to accompany the supplement, which will include their rules. There are already 3 Klegg models available, but unusually for a boxed set these sculpts are all unique, and carry some new weaponry, which is very nice.

3 Kleggs and 3 Klegg hounds, fairly beefy models. That would easily cover 900 points in game so not a bad start.

A MaccyDs themed gang would be great I reckon.
Any idea if there are any rules for aliens in the new book?

I thought the same thing, I would do a 'not' MacDonalds if I were to have a go. If you painted some suitable models up in red and yellow colours, the right hero to lead them...could look amazing! It would be fun to include some kind of wagon to ferry them around in with a huge burger on top..and who could forget fatties?Spevna wrote:A MaccyDs themed gang would be great I reckon.

Some suitable clowns here, especially the one with the axe.

Looking at the contents page from the pdf, I don't think there are aliens rules (although there are new mercs, heroes and villains). Do you mean something like the Trapper Hag character, or movie aliens? In any case I think the mutant rules in the Cursed Earth Desperado list cover quite alot, it would be easy to custom build something.
