Another thing happening at the Mie RPG festival now is a bring and barter counter.
Folks are welcome to bring something from there games collection they no longer need and trade it with another item. Trades will happen at the end of the day. No money to change hands, barter only. This can be done as a lucky dip style or as a simple exchange. Everyone will be encouraged to bring one item at least. If you don't wish to take anything back with you can simply leave your item for the lucky dip or exchange it for something of equal value.
The event is now booked for two days 5th and 6th of March. We will open from 10am each day and run until 8pm if needs be. Depending on how much people get immersed in their games.
I will make sure everyone gets to game and no one is left hanging about waiting for something to happen.
It's on folks, hope to see you there.

Re: Bring and Barter RPG Mie Festival
I will be bringing along some stuff that I would like to get rid of. I have a few old RPG books from various systems that I will never play, so they will be up for grabs if anyone wants some. I will also bring along some Mage Knight (I think) figures that make reasonable proxies for fantasy characters if anyone likes to use minis in their games.
To be honest, there isnt much I want to trade for, my RPG library is already well stocked, (unless anyone has some very specific D and D 3.5 books they are sick of), so everything I bring is free to a good - or at least Lawful Neutral - home.
