Nagoya Games Day - 27th March 2011

Post by Primarch » Sun Mar 13, 2011 1:32 pm

I figured that it was about time to open a new thread for this month's Joshin event.

I will be there in the morning only with 1500 points for 40k for 1 game. I will bring some terrain, but when I go, so does the terrain.
I've heard that Mike the Pike wont be coming (but I'm sure he'll confirm this himself closer to the time), in which case there will be very little terrain to be had. The Japanese guys usually bring some for themselves, but only a little bit.

So....

You guys had better get your acts together cutting up pieces of polystryrene foam and gluing houses/ruins together pronto.

I will probably be there in the afternoon with 40k, but terrain seems to be a problem. Maybe I can get my hands on something.

I will not be there this month. If some one needs terrain please come pick up a box of it.

Is there any interest in fantasy battle this time around? I have a spattering of light terrain pieces.

I'll play if there's terrain to be had, sure. My AB may even have arrived by then - it's in the mail and everything!

Yosha! ok, so far, I have a lump of rock on a board, and 2 corner ruins, and a card stock house/ dwarven brewery. If we combine our resources we can a gaming table fit for a...battle for the AGES! :D

note: If we get this game going, I'll be there for sure. But if theres no fantasy battle, I might give it a miss this time.

edit: As of late, "The Ancients" seem to be stealing most of the lime light, so this time I thinking of leaving the high elves on the shelf and bring out the vampire counts.

I would like to come down for 1) FOW games, if anyone takes interest 2) Warhammer- I should have dwarves if the deals go through 3) making deals with some folk, possibly 4) playing 40k. I've loads of bored and grey looking orks.

I'll come on down. I have some trees that I'll try to attach to better stands and I might invest into a battle-mat for gaming purposes. Otherwise, I would like to invest in scenery for FOW and Warhammer.

Job:
I am there and always up for 40k, if you got some terrain then that would be awesome, like I said I will try to find something myself.

Any other 40k takers?
