A 'short' rumour.

Well after posting some GK rumors i have returned with some more interesting tid bitz.
Squats will be returning with the TAU!
depending on printing problems it is possible they will be slated for November 2011 moving the Necrons back
Squats will be a troop choice and have t4 s5(with battle axe) 5+ 5+FNP(intoxicating save) and SAP but will be allowed to charge 6" instead of rolling
There is a squat HQ but no info yet.
Kroot are still in as well as the firewarriors
Character unlocks crisis suits as troops and they have gotten much better.
update: demiurg is what i ment but im sure you all know that by now.

The concensus is that Squats AREN'T coming back. If they do it'll be as the Demiurg, which is the same thing really just with a different name.

I guess the main question about this is did the rumors this guy put out about the GK codex come true... from what I understand the leaked GK list is about as true as the liked Blood Angel list... seems like they do not get much right in the rumors. I will believe things when I see them.

I dont know what books/leaks you have been looking at, as comparing the leaked playtest rules and the actual rules literally side by side they are almost exactly the same (some points cost tweaking and the Dreadknights stats changed slightly). All of the rumours for the GK were spot on. Special rules, abilities, points costs (for the majority of units) and stats.

I will be very happy if this is true.

Please bear in mind that there will be at most (according to the rumour) a single squad type and a single HQ model, not an army or the models for all the old squats (trikes etc). Of course, if the models are plastic, there is nothing to stop you converting them yourself.

Nah, Tau can't handle their booze at all. Watered down shandies all round I would guess, except for maybe the Kroot. They look like they could be serious drinkers.
If your Squatorks ever want to have a drinking session with my Space Wolves, just give me a shout.

S6 and T6 is hardly a ground breaking change and probably the biggest difference between the playtest and the real books. It just goes to prove that playtesting DOES get done and has some effect on the finished product.
Also, would you care to tell me where in the rumours I posted about GKs that the Dreadknight's stats were mentioned? Here, I'll even point you at the right post to save you asking where it is.
