Oh, the birds are a tweet tweeting... Here's the latest scuttlebutt out there on what's coming down the pipe for Warhammer 40000...
So we all know this summer is Sisters of Battle in White Dwarf.
Next up is Necrons said to be in the November time slot (same as Dark Eldar last year)
Then Chaos Legions in the March 2012 time slot (same as the Grey Knights slot). This is said to not be a replacement for the current Chaos Space Marines book which may get some retconing and erratas to make it effectively the Chaos Renegade book come 6th Edition.
Yes I did mention 6th Edition - said to be hot on the heels of the Chaos Legion book, taking up next summer with the standard multi-month new edition release slot.

chaos legions - definitely of interest, as I actually play a chaos legion.
6th ed - itll come, people will bitch, theyll get used to it. same old same old.
necrons - verra intriguing.
SoB - meh. should be a full codex.

I'm assuming (perhaps optimistically) that should a legion book come to be, there will be a clause in there along the lines of "of course, when we say death guard, you can of course make it any nurgle csm army, if you want. Just make up some fluff".

This, I do not doubt MIJ. If not I will just proxy my lot as the most fluffily inappropriate chapter with the most broken rules

I am just looking forward to the new codex not like I will buy any models for it I most likely will abandon the broken Blood Angels for the Legion book... should be fun and as MIJ will tell you and prime should tell you I played Tau in the last tournament I will play my World eaters from here on out as CSM or World Eaters Legion. that is all... hope that keeps Speve and Mike of my back as they both have a good point..
