Very nice. I'm a sucker for dioramas.

Actually I was being serious. I showed you an Eldar army once that was well painted but you pointed out that Eldar wraithbone doesn't chip. I thought you wouldn't like this because it doesn't fit the fluff.

Lovely looking job though.

IIRC it was rusty wraithbone that got MIJ's knickers in a twist ;)

I think Wraithbone would certainly chip when hit by a projectile round. Mind you the lads down at Eldrad's garage can probably just sing them right out again.

While it is pretty fantastic, I think the gems on the back look unfinished.

Well remembered mate, I thin it was actually rust.

That's technically quite nice.

However, I'm not totally convinced. I know it's a stationary miniature and all, but I'm not getting a sense of movement from the Speeder. The first few photos give the Scouts some really weird skin tones, too.

I think the Eldar dreadnought would be better without any battle damage, as a contrast to the Marines.

like we needed it...

Mike is, of course, completely correct in his recollections. Wraithbone wouldnt rust, but it sure as hell would chip, burn, and be dissolved by acid.

As for the paint job, sure, yeah it's not the bestest best in the world, but overall I thought it was a nice dio and worth a gander.

As for the wierd colours on the guards' faces, I chalk it up to wierd photography rather that painting. Such things happen *shrug*
