I saw the initial demo ages ago. In said demo a Boltgun merely stunned a target so you could run up and chainsword it. Apparantly they decided that boltguns dont fire nerf bullets and instead have real ammunition. Its looking playable now.

likewise. Im not sure about the dakkadakka on the bolter, though. Surely, it fires wee missiles? Pop, swish, raaark, crump, anyone?

(pop) bolt drops out of muzzle of gun
(swish) propellant ignites
(raaaark) bolt roars off to blow something up.
(crump) the sound a small thumb-sized missile makes when detonating inside someone's chest cavity...

Pop, swish, raaark, crump is indead the right sound for a bolter firing on single shot mode, but I reckon if you hold the trigger down you'd mainly get a raaark, raaark, raaark noise.

Anyhoo, like I said, its infinte times better than the original version where bolt gun rounds to the unarmoured head of a cultist made them a bit woozy.
