Hi. My name is Khaine Smith. I live in Yokkaichi, Mie. I have just retired from playing paintball on the National team and have started up my old hobbies; W40k <I like shooting>. I got the original Rogue trader when it came out way back as a kid and have always been a Warhammer enthusiast. I used to play bloodbowl, epic, warhammer and warhammer 40k.

My hobbies are Warhammer 40k of which my army is about 80% collected but not painted yet (primed yes). Paintball; speedball or survival (I helped build the survival game field in Mie) and SCA full contact stick fighting.

Also, I am an avid Space Marine online player under the same name; Primarch Vanguard.

I look forward to meeting everyone.

Hey all, Eric from Yamaguchi Prefecture here. Iwakuni City to be exact. I'm currently stationed on a USMC base called, funnily enough, MCAS Iwakuni. I've been here going on 10 years now and was introduced to this site by big Dan (Danguinius).

I'm an avid Table Top, board, and card gamer, with TT being my main stay. Table top wise I play Privateer Press games exclusively (atm) with Cygnar being my faction of choice. I'm also a Press Ganger for Privateer Press so I'm a bit biased as to which game company is the best. I have nearly every faction starter so if there are ever any events and you need a PP Rep, hit me up and I'll see if I can make it. Unfortunately I don't speak much Japanese, but will begin studies in the language in January, so hopefully that will push me right along.

Currently I'm deep in college studies, so I won't be active very much over the next few weeks, but I did want to drop in and at least introduce myself here. After Dec. 16th my schedule will clear up quite a bit so I look forward to getting some really good conversations started. If you all would like you can check our local club facebook page, or forum and spike some good conversations there as well.

Hello Gannon. Welcome! There are PP guys board gamers, too, but as Prim wrote, GW is main following. Still, this doesn't mean that Warmahordes doesn't have its fans. I good portion of the Japanese guys here (most often not seen on this forum) and a good portion of this crowd have a PP army somewhere in their collection it seems.

Anyway, one way or another, I hope to see you around here and on this forum. Good luck with the studies!

Howdy Eric/Gannon

Welcome to Naghammer. As has been said, folks here play a mix of games. Right now theres a WHfantasy campaign starting up, so a lot of folks are feeling quite psyked about that. Personally, I dont play fantasy, but have enjoyed the new ed of 40k (er..all 2 games Ive played of it so far.) Other than that I have 2 factions for warmahordes (cryx and trollbloods, only counting TBs if completely unassembled factions count... ) and I also play Malifaux when I get the chance, i.e. not very often (altho I have 2 crews for that, too - both arcanists, but 1 M&SU themed and 1 showgirls)

incidentally - I started this thread a while back to try and make some kind of listing of what folks play. I'll try and keep it up to date from now on, as it might be handy for folks like yourself who are new to the forums and are looking to get the lie of the land. As you can see, the lie of the land is: fickle Meh, we'll play anything round here

I just want to vouch for Gannon up there. He`s just checking in to this site, but he`s an old-school wargamer with plenty of experience. I`ve known him for many years I can say he`s great guy and fun to wargame with. I mean, the man plays Cygnar and that`s really all you need to know since The Swans are the paragon of integrity, honor, and fair play. Gannon has recently gotten back in touch with our Saijo (Higashi-Hiroshima) group and next month he`ll be joining our Fukuyama PP wargamers group (to assist me in handing out beatings to Khador and Cryx ). It`s early, but I`ll start talking to him about it and try to drag him up for NH12.
