@Spevna - That looks like a rare find indeed, well done.

Cheers. I got him and the old Eldar ranger with two las pistols. Got them both, plus shipping, for around 1,300¥

Yon pistol bloke is a strong contender for getting converted into my pirate cap'n. Nice model, to be sure. I hadn't realized he was so old.

Today I gave the resin a second dunk in the simple green. Again, no probs, but it seems to be having very limited effect on the paint in the recesses. Given that the model in question is Zhufor the Impaler and is prett much entirely composed of recesses, it has been a bit vexing going over the entire surface of the mini with a toothpick. On that note - Spev - you wouldn't happen to have zuffy's helmeted head kicking about would you? I have a plan for the baldy one is all, and it seems a shame to put a regular head on such a nice model.

I also drilled some more holes in my hellbrute, as well as lord zombie's armour, and modeled an eyeball onto his left lightning claw and some worms onto the hellbrute.

No bioshock today - Sean was Being Difficult, as small children are wont to do.

.

I would have to have a rummage around mate. Stu has all my Khorne stuff now, but my Zuff had the baldy head. I may well have it somewhere. Let me have a look and get back to you mate.

Stu has all your Khorne stuff...except zuffy, who is now in my grubby little mits, and zuffy's spare head, which he says he never got. (only reason he noticed is that i asked him for it, he looked, and it weren't there. Thus, logic implies spare head #1 is still in chez Spevna.) Cheers for having a rummage :)

I looked around on eBay for epic Wraithguard and was disappointed. :( All I need is 2 stands of Wraithguard (and some Wraithlords, but they're a bit easier to come by) to go legal Iyanden, and surprisingly-cost-effective as the plastic infantry sets from GW are, I'm not really excited about another 15 stands of guardians I'd never use.

Aside from that, though, I got the first of many Iron Warriors detachments all set to go. Base decoration and priming will come in due course.
Feel free to call me Dave!

@ MiJ
When you get a camera in the game you can research enemies by photographing them. This makes killing the big daddies easier.
Yes still on for 22nd and 23rd. Thanks :)

glued lots of battlemechs together today for a nice little painfest against prim this Sunday. I shall show him that monkey business is serious business!

non-mini related, had an important meeting with the principal and vice-principal at the junior high school and got all my curriculum change requests approved. And got pictures of my mom and my deceased dog and had a long cry

@Voss - Hope you are doing ok now.

Today I finished basing all my current Napoleonic miniatures and did the flags for the 92nd. Hopefully they will be on the field at the next Joshin event. Everything painted, based and ready to suffer from 'freshly-painted-model syndrome' and die in seconds.
