Probably helps that I have a big pile of Zulu warriors in my to do pile and several reference books on that period. :D

Spent today painting my 95th Rifles. They only need the eyes painting in and then they can join the 'to be based' pile that is growing in my hobby room.

Well, today I did the first hobby stuff I've done all year. Specifically, I stuck together half a dozen showgirls. At some point this week, I may even paint one...

Looks like its been a busy weekend painting wise. Good work Yellowstreak and PV.
Cool!
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

With all the time it has taken to paint my SM army, I have been able to collect a fair amount of nice terrain. I just ordered a gothic building yesterday. I also won a vindicator, whirlwind and predator tank for half price retail.

@job. No worries. I just like to give the local shop some business. Looks like online ordering it is.

Today I stuck together (and cleaned up, pinned, etc) the rest of my showgirls. Fiddly little she-devils, some of them. Still, all done now. Just need to fix some minor casting issues (rather pitted surfaces on some dresses) and sculpt bases for all of them (bleh) and i can start laying some paint down. The bases are pretty critical, btw, as some of them are poncing about on tippy-toe and will fall off unless they're pinned/embedded in a base, so I may as well do em properly now.

Got my 95th finished tonight. Off to the basing pile with them. On to my Artillery pieces tomorrow.

@M_i_J - Yep, them showgirls are a pain in the bum to put on bases alright. :D

You just wanted to use "showgirls" and "bum" in the same sentence.
