Welp, I've decided to follow my heart and put off the Gobbos for a bit longer while I'm in an Iyanden mood. So here's a little WiP:

Those are some nice models. Good job with the yellow. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished army on the battlefield sometime.

Thankee fellas!

Although TBH I am taking full advantage of the facts that a) the models are Very Small and b) photography is forgiving. My yellow method is fast, and produces nice tabletop quality models, but (since it basically involves drybrushing white then yellow over a black undercoat) sometimes a bit splotchy and/or chalky under some kinds of light.

The sweetness of the Revenant models (except for the damnably thin connection to the base peg - both these guys are pinned to the base after the peg snapped off) also helps counterbalance things, heh.

I would like to see how the Air Brush paints yellow... I have seen some stunning yellow armies in the past I would like to produce one someday...

Hmm...

Image

Do they want a bit more blue? I want to stay overwhelmingly yellow (we're not Alaitoc, dammit!), and since blue is so much stronger than yellow it won't take much to overpower it, but I'm worried that they might look a little flat...

(The shoulder-mounted missile launchers will add a little more variety when I add my black details and red highlights.)

Maybe doing all those little smooth stone/gem looking bits in blue might help to break it up a bit.
