I drove across Rannoch Moor a few years ago listening to Monster. I like her. Have a look on Youtube for some of her early stuff - just her and a piano, totally different from the pop sound. The country version of Born This Way is pretty cool, too.me_in_japan wrote:I dunno about you lot, but when I paint I like to listen to something that, in some way, matches the tone or mood of whatever it is I'm painting. F'r example if I'm painting Eldar I might put on some Dragonforce, chaos marines might be Pantera, and Dark Eldar tend to get MCR or something electronicy like Jeanne Michel Jarre or suchlike.
This evening, I set out to paint : Showgirls
After a bit of rummaging, my iPod was coming up a blank. It seemed my collection was sadly lacking. But, thanks to the wonder of YouTube, I was able to commune with my inner handbag, and get to work on the girlies, aided and abetted by the music of: Lady GaGa.
Seriously, say what you like about her, that lass has a hella set of pipes on her. Songwriting ain't bad, either. I find I have a newfound respect for the GaGa. Or maybe I just managed that communing a little too well...
If you already have a photobucket account, get the Photobucket app - you can upload photos directly from your camera roll. The only downside is the image filenames are ugly.I'd post pics, but am on the iPhone and have no idea how to send pics from here to the internetto.
This month, I have mostly been painting motorbikes. Photos at some point.
